a. 11th / 12th Grade or Equivalent Examination ( For upload of scanned copy or original marksheets file in PDF format file size less than 1.4 MB) – fill up details of 11th Grade examination if you are appearing for A Level/ HSC Level/ 12th Grade Examination , fill up details of A Level/ HSC/ 12th Grade Examination if you have already passed.

b. 10th Grade or Equivalent Examination fill up details and upload your original 10th / O Level marksheet in PDF format file size less than 1.4 MB

·         iii. Go to Dashboard and click on SUBMIT APPLICATION

Once you click on SUBMIT Application, further changes in the application will be not possible. Please check your filled application carefully before click on SUBMIT APPLICATION button.

Golden Jubilee of CUET will be held on October 2018

The Golden Jubilee of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) will be held on October 2018. The honorable Chancellor & the President of Bangladesh may attend in the program as a chief guest. A reunion program will also be held in this occasion. All Students passing from Engineering college, Ctg, BIT and CUET can attend in the program. Online Registration will be started from June 5 and will be closed on August 31, 2018.  A circular regarding this has been published by CUET authority.

Fazil Exam Result 2018

Islamic University Kushtia Fazil Result 2018 

Fazil Result 2018 has been published today. Fazil Result 2016 of 1st year session 2015-2016, 2nd year session 2014-2015 and 3rd year session 2013-2014 has been published by Islamic University (IU), Kushtia. This year 1 lakh 13 thousand 410 examinees attended from 1532 madrassas at 286 centers in 61 districts. There are 46 thousand 519 candidates are attended in 1st year exam, 37 thousand 64 candidates are attended in 2nd year exam and 29 thousand 827 candidates are attended in 3rd year exam among them. Fazil Exam started on 16th August 2017, Sunday for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year final under Islamic University. Fazil Exam will end on 7th November 2017 due to flood occurred in different districts. Engineering Learning Part 01 (Otto Cycle)

Today we will discuss about Otto cycle.

Otto Cycle: The Otto cycle is a set of processes used by spark ignition internal combustion engines (2-stroke or 4-stroke cycles). 

Otto Cycle is named after Nikolus Otto (Nikolaus Otto a German Scientist developed Otto Cycle (Idealized Thermodynamic Cycle) for Internal Combustion Engine. Nikolus was born in 1832 and died 1891).

 

The Otto cycle is constructed from:

1) Top and bottom of the loop: a pair of quasi-parallel and ISENTROPIC PROCESSES (Friction less, adiabatic reversible).

2) Left and right sides of the loop: a pair of parallel ISOCHORIC PROCESSES (constant volume).

The Cycle Process-

1-2: Compression Stroke. Adiabatic Compression of air/Fuel Mixture in the cylinder. Isentropic Compression.

2-3: Ignition of the compressed air/fuel mixture at the top of the compression stroke while the volume is essentially constant. Constant Volume Heating.

3-4: Expansion (Power Stroke). Adiabatic Expansion of the hot gases in the cylinder. Isentropic Expansion.

4-1: Exhaust stroke. Ejection of the spent, hot gases. Constant volume cooling.

What is Isentropic Processes?

In thermodynamics, an isentropic process is an idealized thermodynamic process that is both adiabatic and reversible. The work transfers of the system are friction less, and there is no transfer of heat or matter.

What is an Isochoric process?

An isochoric process, also called a constant-volume process, an iso volumetric process, or an isometric process, is a thermodynamic process during which the volume of the closed system undergoing such a process remains constant.
