IELTS test center at Mirpur, Dhaka

Now new IELTS test center is in Mirpur, Dhaka. The British Council recently announced the expansion of its IELTS test operations in Dhaka, with the opening of its new IELTS test venue at Pallabi, Mirpur.
IELTS is one of the most popular international standardized tests of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. Every year, thousands of Bangladeshi students and professionals seat for the IELTS exam with the British Council, especially since it is accepted by most academic institutions and various professional organizations in the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries around the globe.
''The addition of this new venue would add greater convenience to the lives of an ever-increasing number of IELTS candidates in Bangladesh. Over the years, the British Council has introduced a wide range of IELTS exam services to make the exam-taking process easier for the candidates,'' said Deep Adhikari, Director of Examinations of the British Council.
IELTS candidates can register online for taking a test at the newly opened Mirpur venue along with the other existing venues in Banani, Basundhara, Dhanmondi and Uttara. Candidates can also choose a preferred date and time to sit for an exam online. Moreover, continuous efforts to improve the registration process and exam day experience have contributed to the soaring popularity of the IELTS test conducted by the British Council.
