Turkish Architect Pamir Mehmet, a MIT Graduate who designed the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in Bangladesh is one of the prestigious Technical institutions which is run by OIC. This entertaining architectural campus is situated in Board Bazar, Gazipur (Near Dhaka). The Chancellor of the university is Secretary General of OIC. Present Vice Chancellor is Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Hossain. OIC members country students get scholarship to attend IUT.
