BUET VC passes away




Professor Dr. Khaleda Ekram, The first female vice chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) passes away on last night approximately at 3.00 AM. ( Inna lillahi wainna ilahi rajiown). She breathed her last at a hospital in Bankok, capital of Thailand. Professor Ekram was appointed as the vice Chancellor of BUET on September 2014. May Allah keep her soul in peace.
Khaleda Ekram, first female vice chancellor of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet), passed away at a hospital in Bangkok last night.
She was taken to a Bangkok Hospital from Square Hospital on late Friday night by an air ambulance for better treatment.
Her condition was deteriorated since Monday as her kidneys and other organs did not work properly. She was kept on life support.
She was also fighting against leukemia and breathed her last in Thailand at around 3:00am on Tuesday.

Khaleda is the first female vice chancellor of Buet and the second female vice chancellor of the country.
